Community Bank of Winslow
The State Bank of Winslow has been a cornerstone of the Winslow community since 1915. Community Bank is set in a rural farm community where your friends are also your neighbors and our children attend school at the Lena-Winslow School District. The community was awarded The Home Town Award in 2002 which featured Paradise Cove. Visitors are attracted to Paradise Cove’s waterfall with rocks, cliffs, gazebo, a nature trail and an artesian well. The spacious covered bridge provides a scenic view over the running water and the fresh artesian well water brings many back to fill their containers week after week.
Our wonderful park district provides various summer activities to the children of the town and we are blessed to have an outstanding volunteer fire protection district. The Riverdays is an annual festival that brings many to town for the ball tournaments, volleyball, a parade and celebrating “our community” together. As we have in years past, we look forward to a future of participating in these activities and celebrations with our friends and neighbors.
